I am all about hard work and doing what I love – helping people. After an impressive career in the travel and entertainment industry catering to every need of extremely high profile individuals, my love of real estate took over (2001) and the next venture began. Central to my success is experience in the Beverly Hills area and the East Bay through markets up and down. I have a unique perspective and bring expertise, clarity, sophistication, and sound judgment to those who turn to me as a trusted adviser. My clients include entertainment industry professionals, celebrities, key business owners, city managers, the CIO for the White House, techies, and two individuals on the Forbes 400 list. Though these powerhouses are the backbone to my clientele, I have always welcomed all types of clients. Given my high profile persona, I am down to earth, warm, with an uncanny ability to connect on a personal level. I am an expert at the negotiating table and embrace the most challenging situations with creativity and thoughtfulness. With endless enthusiasm and high energy, I am respected for my no nonsense approach, professionalism, and the astounding ability to make things happen when others can’t. What Karen’s Clients Say
On a personal note….
I was raised in Chicago and traveled the world during my career managing corporate travel companies. Having enough of the dreaded winters, I transferred to Los Angeles to oversee the $75Million travel and special services department at 21st Century Fox Studios. After purchasing my first home in West Los Angeles, my passion for real estate became crystal clear. In 2001, I joined Sotheby’s on Rodeo Drive and in no time grew a solid real estate business. Always having a strong desire to live in the Bay Area, I followed my dream and moved to Oakland Hills (Montclair, 2008) with my son and my rescued dogs and continued my real estate career helping people with all things real estate.
An Animal Nut…….
Many people know me through the countless hours spent helping homeless animals and I have always had animals in my family since I was a little kid. I have been a long time dog rescue volunteer and animal advocate for City and County Shelters, Best Friends Animal Sanctuary, SPCA, Bill Foundation, and more. I started volunteering my time and donating money casually, which quickly escalated to countless hours and money. My love clearly shows through the creation of Giving4Paws, a nationwide real estate agent network dedicated to supporting animal welfare organizations throughout the United States. I donate a percentage of all my earnings to Giving 4 Paws, to further my intention of ending dog euthanasia and homelessness across America. Together with other connections and partnerships I have enlisted, and of course, with the help of our clients, we support the tireless efforts of non profit animal rescue organizations throughout the United States.
